About Us
VR Precision Engineering is a specialist tool and die manufacturing workshop based in the Waterfall Industrial Area just outside of Durban. VR specialises in the design and manufacture of injection and blow moulds but also provides precision engineering services and small batch part manufacturing to its customers.
VR Precision Engineering is the brainchild of Kelvin Phillips whose passion for toolmaking and design led him to found VRPE in 2018. In 2021 Stuart Hibbert joined the business and brings with him a wealth of financial and commercial experience.
Kelvin has been a qualified toolmaker for over a decade and has worked in some of the largest tool rooms in South Africa and the United Kingdom. He likes to push the boundaries of toolmaking and prides himself as an out of the box thinker.
